Mission Statement and Who We Are
The Honey in the Rock Dance Theatre (HITR) is an organization committed to expanding, enriching, and transforming the outreach of dance and theatre arts for people of all ages in the Hampton Roads area and the world.
The principles of HITR are simple and clear. HITR uses the power of dance and theatre to strengthen the body, soul, and spiritual connection through physical movement.
The ultimate goal of HITR is to instill a sense of wholeness in the life of its dancers and audiences, worldwide.
